Location - Hawaii State Teachers Association 1200 Ala Kapuna, Honolulu, HI 96819 Days/Hours - Monday through Friday (days vary) Evening Shift - 2 hours a day Rate of Pay $25.00/hr. If you have any questions, please call 808-972-8343. ## Description Seeking a full-service custodian that can perform basic janitorial duties. Duties included dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, kitchen, conference rooms, hallways, individual offices, and public areas. Other duties include high dusting, changing out of light bulbs, periodic stripping and waxing floors, carpet cleaning and shampooing, power washing sidewalks and parking lot. ## Requirements Physical requirements include but are not limited to the ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs., pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, standing, and ability to walk up and down stairwells, and ability to climb up and down a ladder. - Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preffered. - Ability to operate basic machinery preffered (vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner). - Familiar with cleaning public areas and using various cleaning products desired. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Ability to maintain a positive attitude and follow instructions. Note: This job will require a background check and drug test to be completed.
