**THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2026 SEASON (APRIL THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF NOVEMBER)** **Support the Team That Keeps Mission Point Resort Running Smoothly** At Mission Point Resort—Mackinac Island’s only full-service, casually elegant resort—our Housekeeping Support Team plays an essential role in ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and guest comfort. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking **Houseman** to assist with housekeeping operations, maintain public areas, and support room attendants with daily tasks. * * * **About the Role** The Houseman provides critical behind-the-scenes support to the housekeeping department. Responsibilities include delivering linens and supplies, removing trash and soiled items, maintaining cleanliness in public spaces, assisting room attendants as needed, and reporting maintenance concerns promptly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in keeping spaces clean and guest-ready, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. **What We’re Looking For** - **Experience:** Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities support experience preferred but not required - **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent preferred - **Work Ethic:** Dependable, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks efficiently with limited supervision - **Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull housekeeping carts, and stay active throughout the shift - **Teamwork:** Willingness to assist housekeepers, communicate effectively, and adapt to day-to-day needs - **Professional Traits:** Positive attitude, respect for guests and colleagues, and strong attention to detail - **Communication:** Ability to follow verbal and written directions clearly - **Location Requirement:** Must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island during the season * * * **What We Offer** We appreciate team members who help keep the resort clean, comfortable, and running efficiently.
