Heavy Equipment/Diesel Technician

## Overview The Fleet Mechanic supports DeLong’s transportation and production operations by ensuring trucks, trailers, forklifts, and mobile equipment operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with DOT and OSHA standards. This role performs advanced diagnostics, preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep the fleet mission-ready. We are seeking a highly experienced, self-motivated mechanic who can diagnose and repair equipment independently. All employees are responsible for the technical aspects of their position while demonstrating the company’s core values of People First, Respect and Integrity, Innovation, Dependability, and Enjoyment. ## Requirements **Required Qualifications** - 5-7+ years of experience in heavy-duty fleet maintenance - Strong experience with diesel engines - Proficiency in hydraulic systems - Experience with air brake systems and trailer maintenance - Valid CDL (preferred) - Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
