If you're passionate about your career and want to be part of a company that cares about its people, this is the job for you!** **ABOUT THE ROLE** The Grinder operates grinder and other pneumatic tools. Assists welders by cleaning welds and prepping materials for welds. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** • Read and interpret blueprints • Set up tools and machinery for daily activities • Grind and smooth rough areas of each piece • Inspects grinders, guards, and grinding wheels to ensure they are in safe operating conditions • Inspects final product for quality • Operates hand and power tools • Operates manlifts and cranes • Other duties as assigned/directed by supervisor **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • 6 months to 1 year experience in manufacturing, Heat Exchanger industry preferred • Certified to operate crane and manlifts or ability to obtain certifications • Detail oriented • Self-motivated • Must be able to work well in a team environment • Ability to frequent, reach, lift, sit, stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, squat, bend, and balance, • Excellent hand-eye coordination • Ability to follow instructions • Work safely and look out for the safety of the team • Keep a clean and hazard free workspace • Follow JSA, work instructions, and use identified PPE • Identify any defective items and handle them accordingly • Use reason to solve problems • Takes pride in work product and ensure quality work is completed daily • Performs other related duties as assigned. **WHY JOIN EADS?** - **Great Benefits:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, and Flexible Spending Account.
