The Miami Lakes Athletic Club, part of Graham Hospitality and The Graham Companies, is looking for an energetic, sales-driven Fitness Manager to lead our fitness team. Reporting to the General Manager of the Athletic Club, you will provide the leadership, training, and motivation behind everything fitness at our club — from personal training and group fitness to the member experience on the floor. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves developing people, building programs members rave about, and growing a thriving personal training business. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of 15–20 Personal Trainers, Fitness Instructors, and Floor Attendants • Recruit, hire, train, and develop fitness staff, including onboarding and ongoing education for Personal Trainers • Drive Personal Training sales and own the Fitness department P&L, meeting revenue goals set by management • Build quarterly, sales-oriented strategic plans to grow personal training and member engagement • Match new members with the right Personal Trainer based on their goals and initial fitness evaluations • Oversee programming quality across personal training and group fitness, and organize fitness and health programs that motivate members • Schedule staff to business needs and budget, and manage weekly team meetings and performance reviews • Keep fitness areas, strength and cardio equipment, and studios in top condition through daily walk-throughs and proactive reporting • Champion our Winning Edge customer service standards across all fitness areas • Plan community outreach, corporate wellness, and health-promotion initiatives • Teach 6–8 fitness classes per week WHAT YOU'LL BRING • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field • Multiple certifications from a nationally recognized fitness certifying agency (ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or AFAA) • Current CPR and First Aid certification • Proven experience leading and motivating fitness teams • A sales mindset with a track record of meeting revenue goals • Clear, professional communication skills at every level of the organization • Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment • Comfort using and demonstrating exercise equipment on a frequent basis • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
