We build and maintain complex data pipelines handling large data sets from a wide range of connected hospitality systems. On a daily basis, our integrations data pipelines process millions of hotel reservations, tens of millions of prices, transactions and other data points from hundreds of integrated systems, hundreds of terabytes of daily data. As Staff Technical Data Architect, Integrations , you will own the technical architecture of our Integration domains, a set of end-to-end data domains, unifying the world's hospitality data into a strategic unified canonical data model. This is a high-impact role where you will see your work directly translate into real-world applications that impact hotels worldwide. The role requires you to combine strong technical experience in data architecture and data engineering with a good sense of business acumen, product affinity and a drive for excellence. Where you will have impact Own the technical architecture of the data systems and pipelines that ingest and transform the massive volume of data powering our products. Your work spans multiple engineering teams and domains. Gather requirements to realize the product and technical vision and to ingest and process the massive data sets we retrieve from third party systems Map out our current architecture, analyze and design the required future architecture to meet these requirements Help build, test, maintain, support and evolve the current and future architecture. Regularly dive deep into code, operational tooling, cloud resources, logs, monitoring, data quality, to stay grounded in the day-to-day reality of data engineering work. Proactively and continuously improve the architecture and systems design. Set up and own standards and best practices in data engineering and data architecture at scale.
