**FIELD ENGINEER** ENTACT is a premier national provider of environmental, civil, and geotechnical construction services. We directly self-perform environmental remediation and geotechnical construction work, using in-house personnel and equipment resources. ENTACT is actively seeking a Field Engineer in the environmental remediation and geotechnical construction industry. Candidates must be open to sustained project-based travel within the US, at least 80% of the time. Project locations will vary depending on the assignment. Candidates can reside anywhere within the US. ENTACT offers per diem/living allowance and paid monthly trips home. **Position Summary:** The position of Field Engineer will work closely with all members of the management and health and safety team. This position includes quality control, surveying, KPI tracking, and other responsibilities related to the proper and timely execution of ENTACT projects. Must be self-motivated to meet deadlines, communicate effectively in a teamwork setting and be able to adapt role/responsibilities in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. Associates must be open to periods of sustained project-based travel. Must have a valid driver’slicense with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements. **Work Environment:** The Field Engineer performs the essential job functions primarily in a construction/field setting and occasionally works in a typical office environment. **Essential Job Functions:** - Procurement - Project Engineering - Planning and Submittals - CAD - Field project accounting - Contracts administration - Quality control - Land surveying - Other duties as assigned **Skills/Experience Required:** - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams. - Team players with the ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives. - Design, planning and communication skills that promote safe work and safe work products. - Oral and written communication skills. - Good problem solving/decision making skills. - Highly motivated, with the ability to take the initiative. - Strong organization, time management and attention to detail. - Strong work ethic. - Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field. - HAZWOPER 40 hr. training is highly preferred but not required. - Experience with Trimble Business Center or AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred but not required. - Must have a valid driver’s license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements. **Physical Demands/Visual Requirements:** Physical, visual and situational activities that are commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job include, but are not limited to: - Ability to communicate effectively with management, co-workers, vendors, both individually and in front of a group. - Good reasoning ability and decision-making skills. - Able to understand and utilize reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business. - must be able to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. - Work requires the ability to hear normal conversation, see near objects, and speak clearly. - Regular use of the phone, email, text, teams and computer for communication. - Sitting for extended period. - No heavy lifting is expected.
