We are proud to serve the people of Louisiana with integrity, innovation, and a deep commitment to equity. **About This Position:** The Ferry Manager A position is necessary to provide direct technical supervision and oversight of state-owned ferry vessels classified as inspected passenger vessels under United States Coast Guard (USCG) regulations, specifically 46 CFR Subchapter H or M, while those vessels are undergoing repair, survey, modification, or construction in shipyards located statewide. The position also provides oversight of other state-owned vessels and marine equipment during repair and modification activities to ensure regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and safe transportation of the public.
