Expert Test Systems Engineer

Position Summary ANSER is seeking an Expert Test Systems Engineer to lead enterprise-level applications, system, and integration testing efforts across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agency environments. You will provide technical leadership for test and evaluation strategies supporting complex, mission-critical GEOINT systems operating across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructures. You will oversee DevOps-based testing pipelines, integration validation, and automated test frameworks to ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and mission requirements. You will serve as a senior technical authority guiding testing teams and leading defect resolution and system validation activities. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead and oversee Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level engineers performing test and evaluation across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency programs. • Oversee application, system, and integration testing across complex enterprise environments. • Direct testing of applications and APIs within DevOps pipelines using government and industry QA standards. • Oversee independent integration testing of software and hardware to validate compliance with system requirements. • Plan and execute manual and automated testing using scripting and programming languages. • Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis for defects identified during testing activities. • Define and enforce test strategies, quality assurance processes, and best practices. • Ensure validation of system performance across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. • Guide development and execution of automated test frameworks and regression testing strategies. • Coordinate testing efforts across integrated System of Systems and Service-Oriented Architecture environments. • Advise Government stakeholders on test results, system readiness, and risk areas. • Support DevOps pipeline integration for continuous testing and delivery. • Ensure traceability between test cases, requirements, and system architecture. • Oversee defect tracking, resolution workflows, and release validation processes. • Collaborate with engineering and integration teams to ensure mission readiness of GEOINT systems. Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field. Equivalent experience may be substituted. • Expert-level systems integration experience supporting large-scale System of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture environments in cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures. • 12+ years of experience supporting government or industry programs in systems integration, testing, or engineering roles. • Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems. • Experience with Agile, DevOps, and traditional development and testing methodologies. • Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks. • Previous Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) program/project experience. • Experience supporting enterprise test strategy development and execution. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
