## Description **Equipment Technician – Must Have Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record** NJRA relies on equipment technicians to facilitate a seamless clinical experience for our patients. Whether we are setting up rooms to prepare for admissions, providing education, or performing preventative maintenance, our technicians play a vital role in providing patients what they need to recover. Candidates must possess a **valid driver’s license in good standing with no major violations**, as driving is an essential function of this role. **Duties:** - Perform equipment & supply setups, specifically for individuals requiring BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and supplemental oxygen - Safely handle and deliver equipment for needed set ups - Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries and returns - Professional represent the company in communicating accordingly with nurses and patients as needed - Maintain company vehicle in clean and orderly manner per company standards - Follow company process to clean and stock all returned rental equipment - Support yearend inventory audit - Participate in the weekly and weekend on-call rotations - Answering a multi-line phone system with a high level of professionalism - Utilize Salesforce portal to manager daily tasks including but not limited to: - - Entering customer and patient information - Respiratory Therapists and Technician dispatch - Daily correspondences and notifications between Respiratory Therapists, technicians and office staff - Effectively communicate job statuses and job schedules with the team members - Other duties assigned as needed **Requirements:** - Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance. - Prior professional driving experience - High school diploma or GED - Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office - At least one year experience with a multi-line phone system - At least one year customer service experience - Efficient and effective communication skills both written and oral **Would like to see**: - Prior experience in the medical equipment set up atmosphere - At least 1 year of prior management experience - Prior accounting experience - Prior experience in a medical industry - Experience with Salesforce **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to drive long distances for extended periods of time - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds - Looking at a computer screen for multiple hours per day **Locations** - NJRA services the entire state of New Jersey as well as parts of Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland.
