Relocation assistance may be offered for the right candidate. NIKA benefits include PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k matching, and an understanding of work/life balance. **Job Description:** - Performs repair, overhaul, maintenance, and servicing commercial and industrial electrical/electronic systems, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment. - Testing, installation, repair, and maintenance of a variety of electrical equipment, such as generators, ATS, UPS, transformers, switchboards, controllers, door operators, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, IR scans or other transmission equipment. - Performs fire alarm system and nurse call systems testing and maintenance. - Maintains the general cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces and the workshop. - Assist maintenance teams. - Solely identify and resolve failures/alarms related to critical building equipment. ## Requirements Required: - High school education or G.E.D equivalent. - Valid driver’s license - Must hold a Journeyman Electrician License - Must have a high school diploma or equivalency. - Completed certified apprenticeship program preferred. - 1-2 years of experience in electronic repair and maintenance of fire doors and security alarm systems. - Ability to pass a background and drug screening. - Must be a U.S. citizen - Ability to obtain required clearances and gate passes to get on military bases.
