Join us and help run what runs the world. **This position reports to:** Engineering Supervisor \_\_ **The work model for the role is:** Onsite #LI-Onsite **Your role and responsibilities:** In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and modify the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction, using standard design concepts. Each day, you will design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contract specifications. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there. **You will be mainly accountable for:** - Develop and customize electrical designs to meet sales order requirements, including special customer specifications beyond standard designs. - Review customer purchase orders to determine required design characteristics and ensure accurate incorporation into sales orders. - Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing, including preparation of electrical design input for quotations. - Support manufacturing and business objectives by analyzing test data, generating reports as required, and contributing to cost‑reduction and cross‑functional initiatives. **Qualifications for the role:** - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred) with minimum 2 years experience. - **Preferred experience includes:** Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), SAP, Workday, GUI, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Machining - Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. **More about us:** ABB’s NEMA Motors Division is the global leading electric NEMA motors manufacturer.
