Dishwasher

**Shift Information: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (16 hours per week, and every other weekend and holiday)** ***About the Position*** The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and organized manner. ***Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** - Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dishes, silverware, utensils, and small wares and places them in racks. - Sends racks of soiled dishes, silverware, utensils, and small wares through the dishwashing machine. - Ensures that all items that run through the dishwashing machine are clean before putting items away. - Washes pots, pans, and heavily soiled items by hand and then runs them through the dishwashing machine. - Maintains dishwashing machine, including ensuing proper temperatures, throughout the shift. - Sorts and stacks clean dishes. Places clean items back on shelves or in drawers and ensures they are ready for service. - Performs cleaning tasks according to the cleaning schedule. - Cleans the dishwashing machine at the end of each shift. - Removes trash and garbage and places it in the dumpster. - Removes recyclable items and places in proper receptacle. - Personable and reliable with good communication skills. - Ability to work within a team and follow directions.
