We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join our team as a Design Engineer II - Water Resources at our headquarters in Fullerton, California. General Characteristics: Develops broad knowledge and skills in a specific practice area. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features. Collaboratively uses judgment to determine adaptations in methods for non-routine aspects of assignments. Applies principles of probability and statistics to determine risk relevant to civil engineering. Values and applies ethical behavior in the practice of civil engineering. Performs moderate design tasks. Prepares portions of plans, specifications, and other project documents. Performs research and field investigation. Assists in determining schedule and budget requirements. Begins to take supervisory role Involvement in developing project scopes, schedules, and proposals. Critical Tasks and Responsibilities Prepare project concepts through final design plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) bid packages Solve design problems using engineering calculations and following general design standards Prepare complete engineering reports related to civil site improvements, storm drainage, water distribution and…
