Applicants meeting the minimum qualifications will be invited to schedule their exam. The exam consists of a physical agility assessment., written general aptitude test, and an oral board interview process. The testing process is scheduled as an all-day event. Candidates passing the physical agility test will continue on to the written exam and oral board interview. Applicants must successfully complete each of the three phases to be eligible for employment. **Physical agility requirements:** The physical agility test will be held at the Douglas County High School football field. The Peace Officer Standard Training Committee of Nevada POST has established the physical fitness requirements for graduation from the POST Academy. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has adopted similar physical fitness standards and all applicants seeking employment with the Douglas County Sheriff's Department must successfully complete the following physical fitness standards.
