What You'll Do Our Global Physical Security and Data Centre Operations teams are responsible for protecting CoreWeave’s personnel, infrastructure, and intellectual property across our international facilities. This team implements and enforces strict physical security standards, managing facility access, vendor relations, and compliance to safeguard our high-performance cloud infrastructure. About the role As a Data Center Security Specialist, you will manage day-to-day physical security operations, facility access policies, and audit procedures across CoreWeave’s data centre spaces in accordance with the principle of least privilege. You will act as the primary security liaison with colocation partners, conduct regular site inspections, produce detailed compliance reports, and support incident investigations when required. Additionally, you will design and deliver security training programmes for employees, visitors, and contractors while collaborating directly with clients to ensure our security practices align with their specific expectations. This role requires up to 20% travel across Europe to conduct security oversight and training sessions. Who You Are 2–5+ years of experience in data centre security, or 5+ years in a broader physical security-related role (including relevant military, police, or public safety experience). In-depth knowledge of physical security principles, including access control administration, incident response, and security auditing. Strong written, analytical, and organizational discipline, with the ability to work autonomously and produce comprehensive audit documentation. Comfortable utilizing Mac, Windows, and Google Workspace applications. Ability to travel up to 20% across EU member states without requiring additional visas or work permits. Preferred: Certifications in enterprise physical security systems (e.g., Genetec, Axis). Recognized professional security certifications (e.g., PSP, CPP, CPTED). IT or computer networking experience.
