Chemical Operator

Our Clean Harbors team in **Sarnia, ON** is looking for a **DZ/AZ Chemical Cleaning Operator** to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of units such as **Vacuum Trucks and High Pressure Equipment** to perform chemical cleaning at various client sites. **Why work for Clean Harbors?** - Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5! - Competitive wages and yearly increases; - Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment; - Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career. - Positive and safe work environments; ### Responsibilities - Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times; - Driving, operating, and maintaining chemical cleaning units; - Transferring fluid using skid and transfer pumps; - Operating, loading and unloading the units ( ie Hot Oilers, Water, Vac Trucks); - Rigging the equipment and hoses in and out; - Blending chemicals into the circulating units; - Completing electronic pre and post trip inspections, field level risk assessments and other related paperwork; - Comfortable working in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions; - Performing general shop duties and laborer tasks as required. - Previous commercial driving experience required; - Previous chemical cleaning experience is required; - Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time; - Willingness to travel 50% of the time, up to 5-10 days away from home at a time. - Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates ( training available). ### Qualifications - Class DZ Driver’s License required, AZ considered as well; - Previous commercial driving experience required; - Previous chemical cleaning experience is required; - Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time; - Willingness to travel 50% of the time, up to 5-10 days away from home at a time. - Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates ( training available). **Wondering what to expect in starting your career with Clean Harbors?** [Click Here](https://player.vimeo.com/external/150727173.sd.mp4?s=ecd78b6bc9d5bb433c2d70547d7924d34d4c21c5&profile_id=112) to view a Day in the Life Video! **40-years of sustainability in action.
