This is life changing work! The Ferris Care Center (FCC) team provides short-term care in a home-like setting where friends and family can be present during the most difficult times. Nurses focus on intensive medical end-of-life care for patients who can no longer be at home but would rather not be hospitalized. Our approach to care includes comprehensive physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support. **Summary of Job Responsibilities:**This position is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of patient care in the FCC setting by following organizational policies/procedures, regulations, industry standards and fiscal accountability. The charge nurse oversees the emotional and physical health and safety of every person in the FCC inpatient unit - staff, patients and family members.
