JOB OPPORTUNITY We are looking for an experienced Fire Engineer to join our Auckland team. In this role, you'll work across a huge range of different activities, providing technical leadership while helping our clients navigate complex fire safety challenges. You'll have the opportunity to be involved throughout the project lifecycle—from the early stages of a project, through design and approvals, right through to construction and final inspection. You'll work closely with clients, project teams, contractors and other technical specialists to develop practical solutions that meet the requirements of the New Zealand Building Code and relevant Standards, while also considering the real-world needs of the project. What You'll Be Doing Provide key technical input and leadership on fire safety engineering projects from inception through to completion. Develop and assess fire engineering solutions that meet relevant New Zealand Building Code requirements and Standards. Work directly with clients and project teams to understand challenges, explain technical issues and develop practical solutions. Think creatively and challenge conventional approaches where appropriate to achieve the best outcome for the client and the building occupants. Participate in site inspections, construction inspections and final inspections. Prepare and review technical reports, assessments and other project documentation. Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, building professionals, contractors and other project stakeholders.
