Ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets and packages. - Operates complex sterilization equipment, selecting the correct method of sterilization based on manufacturer instructions. - Reviews and signs all sterilizer recording charts to verify proper sterilization parameters before releasing items for clinical use. - Monitors sterilizer printouts, maintains records, and documents all requirements in appropriate log books or computer systems. **Education:** • High School Grad or Equiv [Required] • Technical/Vocational School [Preferred] **Field of Study:** • in healthcare sterile processing **Experience with Robotics, Podiatry, Urology, GYN, ENT, Vascular and Ortho are a plus for this position.** **Work Experience:** • 1+ related experience [Preferred] **Licenses and Certifications:** • Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) [Required] OR • Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) [Required] • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred] **Pay Range:** $17.11 - $27.38 **Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)** Certain positions are subject to **Florida Level 2 background screening**, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
