We're looking for someone who brings **hands-on expertise across residential construction**, from framing to finish work, and who values precision, accountability, and teamwork. ## **About the Role** As a Carpenter, you will play a key role in the successful execution of residential construction and remodeling projects. You'll work from plans and field direction to build, install, and finish structural and aesthetic components-ensuring every detail meets our quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys **variety in their work**, takes ownership of their tasks, and consistently delivers high-level craftsmanship. ## **Key Responsibilities** - Execute carpentry work across all phases of residential construction, including: **framing (walls, roofs, rafters), window and door installation, and interior trim and finish carpentry** - Interpret blueprints, drawings, and supervisor instructions to complete layouts and installations - Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials, including wood, drywall, and other building components - Ensure accuracy using levels, squares, and other measuring tools - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite - Coordinate with team members and subcontractors to keep projects moving efficiently - Communicate material needs in advance to avoid delays - Complete daily time tracking and required documentation - Arrive on time and prepared each day, ready to begin work at 8:00 AM to support project timelines and team efficiency ## **What You Bring** **Experience & Skills** - 3-5+ years of experience in residential construction - Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and safety practices - Ability to perform high-quality finish work, including: - Stain-grade trim - Door hanging and hardware installation - Window setting - Stair and rafter layout - Ability to read and interpret blueprints - Solid math skills for measurements and material estimation ## **Work Environment & Physical Requirements** - Active jobsite environment with work both indoors and outdoors - Ability to: - Work at heights and on roofs - Climb ladders and navigate uneven terrain - Work in confined spaces (crawlspaces, under structures) - Lift and carry materials up to 80 lbs - Must adhere to all OSHA safety standards and promote a safety-first culture - Reliable transportation to and from job sites is required - Valid driver's license required ## **Tools & Equipment** - Carpenters are responsible for supplying and maintaining their own hand and small tools required for daily tasks - Sineath Construction provides larger tools and equipment necessary for project execution - Responsible for the proper use and care of all company-provided tools and equipment ## **What Success Looks Like** - Consistently deliver **high-quality craftsmanship with minimal rework** - Take ownership of tasks and follow through without constant direction - Help maintain a **safe, productive, and professional jobsite** - Build strong working relationships that reduce friction and improve team output - Continuously improve skill level, efficiency, and attention to detail - Consistently show up on time, prepared, and ready to start work at the scheduled time ## **Compensation** - Hourly rate: **$23 - $28** based on experience and skill level - Opportunity to grow within a respected and quality-driven construction team ## **Why Join Sineath Construction?** - Consistent, high-quality residential projects - A team that values professionalism, craftsmanship, and accountability - Clear expectations and strong leadership support - Opportunity to build a long-te…
