This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. **The purpose of our Business Immigration Paralegal** is to work under the close supervision of an Attorney and/or Case Manager, responsible for independently analyzing information and documents, while also preparing, reviewing, and compiling immigration petitions and applications for Attorney review and filing. **The Business Immigration Paralegal**will also handle straightforward client/foreign national communications regarding case processing and status in a timely manner, while providing excellent client service. **What you’ll do:** - Ensure effective document intake: i.e., review documents for validity and sufficiently analyze immigration status based on documents provided during document collection. - Be accountable for the heavy drafting and reviewing of immigration forms and letters based on the analysis of case details, documents, and individual qualifications, as per strict deadlines for a range of NIV, PERM and IV applications (end to end). - Applying strong attention to detail, ensure immigration petitions are prepared efficiently and accurately. - Flag any potential/foreseeable case-related issues with Attorney in a timely manner. - Draft responses to requests for evidence as guided. - Utilize online immigration case tracking system to monitor case status and activities on a daily basis. - Coordinate with Client Support Specialists the printing, scanning, and posting of cases and service requests. - Respond to client communication requests – either via client contact, or directly with the foreign national. - Prioritize daily workload based on fluctuating client deadlines, whilst maintaining an appropriate sense of urgency. - Flag any ideas for process improvements and modifications to appropriate Attorney/Case Manager. - Assist other team members with case or document preparation, as required. - Contribute to positive team morale, even within a remote work environment. **What you bring:** - Completed Bachelor’s Degree – highly desirable. - At least 1 year of experience working as an Immigration Paralegal drafting employment-based petitions. - Intermediate level proficiency with MS Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word). - Experience with drafting petitions for a range of NIV cases preferred: H1B, L, TN, O-1 etc. and/or experience with drafting green card processes (I-140 and AOS), and end-to-end PERM applications preferred. - Experience working with a high volume of active and inactive cases at any one time. - Experience communicating directly with (HR staff) and/or foreign nationals regarding case requirements, including work on key accounts/clients. - You have genuine interest in US immigration, with a desire to treat clients & foreign nationals with respect and an empathetic approach. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including spelling and grammar. - Sharp eye for attention to detail to ensure consistent accuracy of work. - Ability to follow due process, templates, and to adapt to evolving innovation within the Firm, and industry. - Ability to collaborate with others as part of a team. - You have excellent organizational skills and are able to meet deadlines. - Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize caseload. - A genuine interest in U.S. immigration, with a desire to treat clients & foreign nationals with respect and an empathetic approach. - Uphold all of CIP, PC's core values. **Why CIP:** CIP P.C. is a…
