We are currently seeking hard-working and experienced individuals to join our team as a cook. **Weekend and Holiday availability required** **Open availability required** - Responsible for **cooking**, **plating**, and **serving** food during events such as special events, corporate meetings, or holiday parties. - Responsible for ensuring that the food is prepared to high standards and presented attractively. - Responsible for adhering to strict cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen. - Responsible for handling food safely, dating and rotating food containers, and store perishables appropriately. ## Requirements **Job Requirements**: - Collaborate with Banquet Chef and other kitchen staff to communicate about menu items, any issues or shortages. - Must have a full working knowledge of kitchen equipment, including broilers, steamers, grills and fryers. **Qualifications**: - **Culinary Arts**, **Hospitality**, or related fields is preferred, but not required. - Serv Safe Certification is preferred, but not required. - At least **one year** of food preparation experience is desirable. - Banquet cooks should be familiar with food safety, sanitation, and menu planning.
