**Mission Contribution:** To ensure effective integration of Goodwill’s mission through the Children and Family Services Department. **Function:** This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments on individuals and families referred to the clinic for suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role involves the administration and interpretation of a range of diagnostic tests and tools to evaluate and diagnose ASD in patients across various age groups.. **Essential Functions:** (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation). 1. Administer and interpret a variety of standardized tests, including but not limited to ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule), ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised), cognitive assessments, adaptive behavior assessments, and other relevant diagnostic tools. 2. Conduct interviews with patients and their families to gather comprehensive developmental history and behavioral observations that aid in the diagnostic process. 3. Document assessment results, observations, and diagnosis accurately in clinical reports. 4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, pediatricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to ensure a comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis process. 5. Arranging services and identifying necessary resources for families. 6. Providing social support and expanding the social network for the child/family. 7. Attending training and conferences to stay informed about autism practices and family services. 8. Attending required record reviews by funding sources. 9. Representing and promoting Goodwill through involvement in community activities. 10. Acting as a positive role model for employees and students. 11. Observing safety procedures and ensuring compliance by employees and students. 12. Ensuring regular attendance as outlined in Goodwill policy. 13. Other duties as assigned. **Skills, knowledge and abilities:** (these are required to enable job holder to perform the essential functions of the job). 1. Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people. 1. Must be able to market Goodwill and explain the mission to the general public. 2. Ability to use general office equipment including computer and be proficient in basic software applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher). 4. Must possess excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. 5. Must be able to take initiative, make sound decisions and work well with little supervision. 1. Must be able to keep information confidential. 7. Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English. 8. Must be able to maintain an effective working relationship with, and among employees while motivating them to their best performance. 9. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, occasionally including nights and weekends and hours in excess of 40 per week. 10. Ability to function in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress. 1. Must be able to travel frequently through the Gulf Coast area including some overnight stays. 2. Must obtain and retain First Aid/CPR/AED certification and respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency at the worksite according to Goodwill Safety Policies & Procedures. 3. Must have reliable means of transportation, must have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years, liability automobile insurance and be insurable through the agency’s insurance carrier. 4. Must be at least 21 years of age. **Experience and Education Requirements:** •A Master’s or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, psychiatry, speech pathology, or a related field specializing in developmental disorders. •Experience in conducting diagnostic assessments for ASD or related developmental disorders. •Knowledge of and experience with a wide range of standardized diagnostic tools and assessments used in d…
