Work shouldn't consume your life, we believe in Work-Life-Balance and strive for flexibility through various company perks. **Benefits and Perks:** - Free Medical coverage options We cover all out of pocket expenses! - 40 Paid CME hours - $15,000 Sign on Bonus - Paid license renewal fees - Chiropractor/Acupuncture covered at 100% in-network - HMO and PPO Dental coverage options - Vision - 403(b) retirement plans with employer matching - Generous paid time off including 1-Week Holiday closure for Christmas & New Years! - Competitive Wages & Annual Merit Increase **Will oversee two locations @ 6043 Hollywood Blvd, 90028 & 137 N Virgil Ave, 90004** **Duties and Responsibilities:** - Supervise both Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners at all sites including providing timely performance feedback, review of peer review findings, performance evaluation, continuous monitoring and assessment of performance, and adherence to policies and procedures. - Assign staff workloads, develop priorities, establish work schedules, monitor staff productivity reports - Responsible for all staff training and onboarding, performance reviews and systems knowledge. - manage provider panels, provider schedules, vacations, absences and search for provider coverage. - Promote and support patient care teams and the Patient Centered Medical Home. - Foster and maintain open communication with staff clinicians to share their ideas and concerns with management team. - Ensure appropriate staffing levels, anticipate changes in staffing needs and coordinate staff when shortage exists. - Assign workloads, develop priorities, and establish work schedules and policies necessary to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. - Perform yearly appraisals which result in the growth and development of direct reports. - Document disciplinary actions and or counseling sessions on non-compliance with regulatory codes and conduct cording two policies and procedures in consultation with Human Resources. - Work with the employee to develop skills and potential for individual and professional growth. - Complete progress notes documentation, review diagnostic test results, and respond to the clinical needs of the patient in a timely manner as defined by the organization. - Provide direct patient care and perception for medical students/residents rotating through the clinic. - Work with CMO to develop/review and oversight adherence to clinical care protocols and chronic disease management guidelines. - Act as a resource to resolve patient and family concerns. - Through teamwork and accountability, exhibit behaviors and attitudes of courtesy and respect to patients, families and to all members of the health care team. - must be knowledgeable of key payer program such CHDP, HWLA, Managed Care, FPACT, CDP and others. - Perform functions, duties and or services in compliance with regulatory agencies, contractual obligations and funding sources. - Assist Chief Medical Officer in peer review and other quality assurance (QA) related activities. - Assist Chief Medical Officer with the development, review or revision of clinic clinical protocols, policies and procedures. - Review monthly variance reports to evaluate and explain variances in spending in medical supplies, laboratory expenditures, radiology and other clinical areas. - Other duties as assigned. **Position Requirements:** - Valid, current unencumbered Medical License from the State Medical Board of California (MD or DO). - 3-5 years of Clinical experience with CHDP, HWLA, Managed Care, FPACT, CDP and other programs preferred - Clinical experience in a community health center preferred - Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with all levels of the agency staff and outside contacts. - Familiarity with OCHIN EPIC preferred. - Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentia…
