Your role as Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is critical to AL’s success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored or sanctioned committees, organizations, functions etc. You are ultimately responsible for insuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. **We have a new bonus structure! All Assistant Maintenance Supervisors will receive a stipend of $100 when on-call, on top of overtime. ALSO, maintenance team members are eligible for bonuses of up to $250 based on make ready status and work order completion.** **Your “Day to Day” at American Landmark** **as an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor:** - Assist in the supervision of the maintenance team - Assist in managing the work order system and tracking work orders - Responding to work orders within 24 hours and ensuring follow-up calls are made - Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property - Responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory - Assist team with renewal and leasing efforts and to achieve financial goals - Coordination of apartment turn efforts **Qualifying Accomplishments** **of an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor** **:** - 3 years+ as an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor - 1-2 years supervisory experience - EPA Universal certification required - HVAC Certified (Requirement) - Prior experience in multi-family housing - Refrigeration certification and basic business finance knowledge is preferred - Irrigation knowledge - Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. - Bilingual (Spanish) preferred **What American Landmark Offers You** **:** - Market competitive salary - Comprehensive insurance coverage to include Medical, Life, Dental, Vision, Long and Short-Term Disability - Three weeks’ paid vacation per year - Industry competitive bonus structure to include move-ins and renewal pool - Education/Tuition Reimbursement - 401K Retirement Plan w/ 4% match - 30% rent discounted apartment - Cell phone allowance **Background & drug screening are a requirement.** **We are an equal opportunity employer.**
