**Assistant General Manager** We are currently looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM). This Challenging position has the overall responsibility for managing the operations of the hotel to maximize profitability, ensure superior service and product quality, drive hotel performance, and the development of people. **Job Responsibilities** Manage day-to-day operations and assignments of the hotel. Plan and organize work, communicate goals, and schedule/delegate work. Advise staff of formal policies and procedures, identify options and resolve issues. Initiate disciplinary, or other staff related actions in accordance with company policies. Ensure that hotel quality standards are met in all areas of the hotel as it relates to the appearance, levels of maintenance, and cleanliness; establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs to protect eh physical assets of the hotel. Ensure all staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions. Ensure a sage and secure environment for guests, employees, and hotel assets. Comply with our corporate Health and Safety programs. This position reports directly to the General Manager of the hotel, as this is a hands on position the (AGM) will be required to conduct his or her responsibilities while playing an active role with the Front Desk operations. **Qualifications** - The successful candidate must be proficient with computers, and have a strong background in the Hospitality industry. - Previous Front Desk and/or hotel experience required. - 2-4 years management experience - Must have FULL availability
