# Accounting Manager – Manufacturing **Buford, GA | $80,000–$100,000** ## About the Opportunity Our client is a well-established **$25 million custom fabrication and manufacturing company** seeking an experienced **Accounting Manager** to lead its day-to-day accounting function. This is a hands-on opportunity for a manufacturing accounting professional who enjoys partnering with operations, improving processes, and contributing to the long-term success of the business. The company is actively engaged in **succession planning** and is looking for someone who wants to grow with the organization. ## Position Overview This is **not a traditional corporate accounting role**. The ideal candidate has a strong background in **manufacturing accounting**, including **cost accounting, managerial accounting, inventory, job costing, and work-in-process (WIP)**. Experience supporting a custom fabrication or discrete manufacturing environment is highly preferred. ## Responsibilities - Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and month-end close. - Manage manufacturing accounting activities, including inventory, job costing, cost analysis, and financial reporting while partnering with operations to improve profitability and business performance. - Develop and improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insight to support strategic decision-making. ## Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. - **10+ years of accounting experience** with a strong manufacturing background. - Extensive experience in **cost accounting** and **managerial accounting**. - Experience with **Epicor ERP** is strongly preferred. - Hands-on leadership style with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. ## Compensation & Benefits - **Salary:** $80,000–$100,000 - Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance - 401(k) - Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable manufacturing company where your expertise will play a key role in the company's continued growth and future leadership plans.
