## Description **(The YMCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer)** Essential Functions: 1. Assist with instructing and teaching youth sports programs 2. Comply with all guidelines and requirements 3. Have complete knowledge of emergency procedures appropriate for the site to ensure the safety of the children and record as required 4. May be responsible for monitoring childcare payments, attendance records, and sign in/out sheets 5. Develop and maintain relationships with school district administration, parent groups and other organizations and agencies related to assigned programs 6. Must provide updated registration information to Program Director 7. Ensure quality control standards and participants safety 8. Treat all children, parents and staff with dignity and respect 9. Follow age-appropriate discipline policy 10. Interact with the children and provide positive role model during all activities 11. Be dependable, punctual and organized 12. Be responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of the learning environment of the site 13. Attend all staff meetings, training sessions, workshops and conferences as requested or required 14. Understand the need for and play an active role in the Annual Campaign & UW Campaigns 15. Take the initiative to do what needs to be done 16. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance 17.
