## Description **Overview** **** Are you passionate about working with kids and sports? We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Sports Instructors to join our team! We offer fun, engaging sports classes for children and are looking for coaches to help them learn and grow. As a Youth Sports Instructor, you will be responsible for leading classes for children of various ages and skill levels. We need coaches for the following sports: Soccer Wrestling Volleyball Pickleball Tennis Lacrosse Your main goal will be to create a positive and safe environment where kids can develop fundamental skills, learn teamwork, and have fun. This is a part-time position with classes held on weekday evenings and weekends. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead and supervise youth sports classes. - Teach fundamental skills and rules of sport. - Ensure the safety of all participants. - Encourage good sportsmanship and teamwork. - Communicate effectively with parents and staff. - Set up and take down equipment for each class. **Qualifications** - Experience playing or coaching one or more of the sports listed above. - Experience working with children (ages 3-12 is a plus). - High energy, positive attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility. - Reliable and punctual. - Ability to pass a background check. - CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required (we can provide training). **Physical Requirements** - Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach throughout the workday. - Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds. - Ability to work independently and respond quickly to operational needs throughout the department.
