Workday Data Consultant

Our partner is looking for a Workday Data Consultant based in India.** This role offers the opportunity to support successful Workday implementations by ensuring accurate, reliable, and efficient data migration processes. You will work closely with project teams and clients to prepare, transform, validate, and load critical business data into Workday environments. The position combines technical data expertise with consulting skills and client collaboration. The role provides valuable exposure to Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financials projects across diverse client environments. ### Accountabilities: The Workday Data Consultant will support end-to-end data migration activities by preparing, transforming, loading, and validating information within Workday systems. The role requires strong attention to detail, collaboration with functional teams, and a commitment to delivering accurate data solutions that support successful client implementations. - Prepare, format, and load data into Workday using standard migration tools, including Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) and iLoads. - Map legacy source data into Workday data collection templates in collaboration with project leads and client teams. - Perform data validation cycles to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data load errors, formatting issues, and reconciliation discrepancies. - Generate and review data reconciliation reports to confirm accuracy and readiness before production deployment. - Collaborate with functional consultants across HCM, Payroll, and Financials to ensure data aligns with configured Workday environments. - Support data analysis activities and contribute to continuous improvement of migration processes. - Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations clearly to internal teams and clients. - Manage multiple project activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service. - Act as a trusted partner by supporting clients throughout the implementation lifecycle. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Workday data conversion, migration processes, and enterprise data management. They should combine technical knowledge with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams. - Workday Payroll Certification is required. - Minimum 1 year of experience working with Workday data conversion, data analysis, or ETL processes. - Practical experience managing data loads for Workday HCM, Financials, or Payroll. - Strong understanding of creating, populating, and uploading Workday inbound EIBs. - Ability to analyze data quality issues and perform reconciliation activities. - Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build trusted client relationships. - Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate different perspectives and solutions. - Effective collaboration skills with consultants, clients, and cross-functional teams. - Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet connectivity. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in technology, data, business systems, or a related field is preferred. ## Benefits: - Fully remote position based in India. - Full-time employment opportunity. - Company-provided computer equipment upon hire. - Opportunity to work on Workday imple…
