Overview IMI is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our team in Sedalia CO. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in assembling and fabricating metal components for ornamental rails/ misc. metal structures. Ensuring high-quality standards and safety protocols are met. With this role you will also assist in the Parts Department as needed. Duties - Perform welding tasks using MIG. - Weld ornamental railing/ misc. metal structures according to blueprints and specifications. - Operate hand tools. - Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications. - Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. - Assist with the parts department as needed. Skills - Proficient in welding techniques such as MIG. - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools effectively. - Experience in reading blueprints and technical drawings. - Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. - Experience with press brake machines and plate shears is a plus. - Will be a welding test if selected for an interview. (T-Joint in the 3 G and 4 G position)
