Welder I

- Ability to pass certification test when instructed - Ability to weld small parts and simple weldments when instructed - Safe operations of all welding equipment and proper use of all PPE - Welding helmet, Safety glasses, Welding jacket and gloves - Can weld using the GMAW process - Utilize technology for processing jobs and communication - Clocking, Inventory, Job Completion - Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge base - Mandatory overtime when business conditions require it - Adherence to the attendance policy - All other duties as required **Are you qualified?** - **Experience**: 2+ years of fabrication experience or training is preferred. - **Blueprint Reading**: Proficiency in reading blueprints and using fixtures, jigs, clamps, and quality inspection tools is essential. - **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift heavy objects (100+ lbs.) and perform various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, twisting, and standing. - **Professionalism**: Conduct yourself in a professional, safe, and businesslike manner while maintaining a highly motivated, positive, and collaborative attitude. - **Reliability:** Can make the daily commute to Spring Park, MN and maintain good attendance. - **Pre-employment Requirements**: Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, full panel drug screening, and physical work simulation. - **Training**: Completion of necessary training requirements provided by SRC.
