## Description **SUMMARYFits and welds fabricated, cast and forged components to assembly by performing the following duties.** **RESPONSIBILITIES** · Fit up parts prior to weld. · MIG or TIG various parts in different material types. · Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check quality requirements. · Personally, conduct all quality checks before moving to Quality Department. · Understand and interpret prints and technical drawings. · Grinding, sanding and cutting using a plasma cutter, as required. · Adhere to Lean Manufacturing initiatives, quality requirements and all safety programs. · Bluco · Advance position qualification (minimum 3G) · Multi-pass certification · Oxy/Fuel or Plasma · Robot Operator · Spot Weld **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** · None **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** · High school diploma or GED. · Demonstrated success is fit-up of parts to be welded. · Math and blueprint skills. · Self-starter, capable of completing task(s) with minimal supervision. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
