Welder/Fabricator

Who you are: Are you a hardworking and responsible individual who has solid welding and fabrication experience? Are you a team player with a great attitude? What you will be doing: - Sets up, tests, and maintains a variety of equipment - Hands on to assist in the fabrication of steel - Use various techniques to fabricate metal items, including welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing - Read technical drawings/ability to read blueprints - Ability to lead a fabricating shop of 5-6 technicians - Lead by example and model correct behavior you want to see in your team members; demonstrate excellence - Directing a team of junior technicians - Overseeing a crew of technicians - Ensure the safety of their crew by giving regular trainings - Ensure quality and quantity of the work put out by the shop - Manage daily work of the shop - Assist machinists - Report to shop managers - Handle customer service Our ideal candidate has: - Valid Driver's License - Basic computer knowledge - Willingness to work as a member of a team and bring a positive attitude. - Lead by example About our client: For 35 years, our client has remained committed to their customers by providing sales, service and installation of commercial recycling equipment; operating out of their Rollinsford, NH facility. Our client is family owned and operated and is here to help you. Additional information: - $50,000-$52,000 annual salary - Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm, start end times can vary and need to be flexible depending on workload - Some weekends might be required - Overtime available if required - Company uniforms supplied - Work boot allowance - Per diem and motels for overnight stays - Health insurance, 401K, paid vacation, personal days
