- Conduct tests to check weld quality, and dimension tolerance. - Overtime required when necessary. - Other duties as assigned by Direct Manager. - Show up to work every day and on time. - Lifting, moving, and holding or clamping work pieces to table, into jigs, or into - Moving work pieces, tools, and supplies, manually or by hand truck. - Report and detail product nonconformances - Welds steel component parts with GMAW equipment as specified by blueprints and work order with GMAW equipment. - Bolts, clamps, and tack welds parts in place to secure for welding operations. - Plans layout, assembly, and welding of products. - Verify dimensions and product specifications. - Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. - Inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws. - Drug free - High standard of integrity and professionalism. - Ability to read blueprints. - Studying the blueprint and “seeing” the completed product before starting project. - Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding TIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals. - Regular and on-time attendance. - Good communication and interaction skills. - Attendance is critical. - Knowledge of shop tools and equipment. - Ability to weld thin gauge material (16ga to 10ga) - Ability and desire to work as part of a team. - Mechanical aptitude.
