How You Will Make an Impact: As a Welder , you will be responsible for joining metal parts and structures, ensuring the quality and integrity of each weld. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques, safety standards, and the ability to work with a variety of materials. Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand welding Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc) on materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Set up and maintain welding equipment, ensuring that all tools are in good working Measure and cut metal pieces to the correct dimensions and Inspect and test welded areas to ensure compliance with quality standards and Repair and modify metal parts as needed to ensure functionality and Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a safe work Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to meet project Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours Minimum Requirements: Proven experience as a welder in a commercial or industrial Proficient in MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Arc welding Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and Familiarity with welding safety procedures and the proper use of welding tools and Physical strength and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but not What You’ll Love About Us: Best People and Great Places to Work , Hire Vets ,Top Place to Work For – Austin American Statesman Your Well-Being is a 100% covered Medical, Dental, and Vision Invest in Your 401K with company match, immediate vesting
