About the Role As a Weatherization Technician, you will play a key role in helping homeowners improve their comfort and lower their utility bills through our core services, which include air sealing and insulation in attics and basements. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with our customers to enhance the energy efficiency of their homes, making a real difference in their daily lives. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking an adaptable and reliable individual who can see a job through from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to communicate effectively with both customers and co-workers. Knowledge of home construction and building science is a plus, but if you don’t have direct experience, we’re happy to train the right person. Key Responsibilities - Install energy-saving solutions such as insulation and air sealing in attics and basements - Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a clean, professional, and respectful work environment - Work closely with a team to complete projects on time and to company standards - Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently - Maintain accurate records of daily tasks and job progress Qualifications - Knowledge of home construction, building science, or trades is helpful, but not required - Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Willingness to learn and grow in the energy efficiency field - Physical Requirements: - Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces - Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs. - Ability to wear a respirator Other Requirements - Valid Class C driver’s license Compensation and Benefits - Wage: $23 – $28/hour, depending on experience + Monthly bonus plan - Hiring Bonus: $1000 entry level, $2500 for 3+ yrs experience - Benefits: - Health Insurance (Evergreen pays 100% of premium cost for employees) - Company-matched IRA - Paid Holidays, 2 weeks PTO, & 1 week paid winter holiday - Long and short term disability insurance - Life Insurance - Opportunities for training and career advancement Work Schedule - Full-time, typically 40 hours per week - Monday – Friday, traditional construction hours Our Hiring Process 1.
