Instruct students of all ages in individual or small group (up to 4 participants) swim lessons in accordance to TRACEN Aquatic Center lesson guidelines. Build positive relationships with students and assess individual needs. Create daily swim lesson plans that allow student to progress their ability to swim during an 8 lesson period. Observes swimmers and ensures all participants are always accounted for. Ensures all water safety rules are observed by swimmers, utilizing a good knowledge of all aspects of water safety. Attend aquatics and/or safety training as directed. Assists in maintaining pool and keeping all areas clean and free from any hazards. Participates as part of the Aquatic Facility Safety Team. Provides assistance during emergency situations including but not limited to: evacuating the pool, calling 9-1-1, providing CPR, or providing first aid. Must be able to communicate in English (both verbally and in writing). 3. Persons must be at least 16 years of age. **Preferred (in addition to the minimum):** 1.
