Apply Today! **Job Description:** - Learn about Dauch products and support warranty investigations related to field performance and customer concerns. - Analyze customer warranty data to identify trends, track returned components, and monitor warranty metrics including claim volume, labor codes, and cost impacts. - Assist in investigating product issues by evaluating warranty claims and identifying potential causes of field failures or customer dissatisfaction. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout Dauch including Product Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Gear Lab Engineering, Quality, and other technical functions to support problem-solving activities. - Participate in hands-on evaluation of field-returned components, including product teardowns and failure analysis. - Document root cause analysis and corrective action plans. - Prepare reports and presentations that communicate warranty trends, investigation results, and product performance data to manufacturing facilities and stakeholders. - All other duties as assigned. **Required Skills and Education** - Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree or related field, fulltime at an accredited university - Graduation date of December 2027 or later. - 3.0 GPA required. - Candidate must be able to work 25 hours a week year round. - Must be interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry. - Technical / Industrial knowledge and/or experience preferred. **About Dauch:** Dauch Corporation is a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier serving the global automotive industry with a powertrain-agnostic product portfolio that supports electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles.
