Warehouse Supervisor Non- Exempt Reports To: Branch Manager POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager with managing employees and activities at the branch, including properly maintaining a high value inventory and providing and maintaining excellent customer service. The Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible to accurately schedule employees and shifts with safety, productivity, and customer service in mind. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Ensure compliancewithall company policies including state and federal regulations. - Monitor and maintain branch performance goals/standardsutilizing KPI’s and other metrics. - Assistwith recruitingand trainingstaff at the branch. - Oversee the overallsafety andsecurity of branch and branch employees, making sure everyone usesmachinery properly,maintainsworkstationandbranchclean. - Identifypriorities andshiftsresources to ensure completion of dailyobjectives. - Supervise employees over daily tasks and conduct. - Enforce policies and procedures andmaintainconsistency. - Help to ensure efficient inventory control,managingdeliveries,inspectinginventory, maintaininginventory records. - Interact with company employees and customers whiledemonstratinga high levelof professionalism including mutual trust andrespect. - Assistto coordinatebranch activities to ensure smooth operation ofbranch. - Additionalduties may be assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION: - Proven leadership, team building,detailorientatedand communication skills. - Ability to cultivate a culture of teamwork, customer focus, and respect. - Strongproblem-solving skillswith a keen eye for detail and safety. - Experience with both fleet and MHE safety and maintenance. - Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to prioritize assignments and manage interruptions to meet deadlines in afast pacedandgrowth-orientedenvironment. - Ability tooperatehand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and OR other equipment safely.andin accordance withorganizational procedures. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent - Valid driver’s license strongly preferred - Valid CMV DOT Medical Card preferred - Pass andmaintainForklift certificationrequired - 2+ years warehouse or equivalent experiencerequired PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes; Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and making fine discriminations in sound; Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects;. Must be able to remain in a stationary position and/or upright, for prolonged periods of time, traverse stairs, maneuver in tight spaces, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch extended periods of time during 8-10-hour work shift.
