WHAT YOU WILL DO: As a Shipping Manager, you are responsible for **all activities relating to distribution operations executing all inventory control, picking, packing and loading of construction supply material, and dispatching of delivery trucks for delivery of construction supply material during the shipping process.** - Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring orders and inter-branch transfers are accurately picked, packed, loaded, and shipped according to company standards - Maintain inventory accuracy by partnering with inventory and inbound teams to minimize discrepancies and resolve order issues - Ensure timely processing of parcel shipments and collaborate with customer service to resolve fulfillment and inventory concerns - Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates by fostering a positive, high-performance, team-oriented work environment - Communicate and enforce company policies, training requirements, and performance expectations, including administering corrective actions when needed - Promote and maintain a safe workplace by enforcing safety protocols, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards - Oversee employee administration, including timecard approval, PTO requests, attendance corrections, and performance documentation - Support continuous improvement initiatives, warehouse organization, and company projects to drive operational efficiency PAY RANGE: $70,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday) WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED: - 2+ years of experience in warehouse/distribution operations with a proven results-oriented track record required - High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred - Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently - Proficient in basic computer applications, including NEFCO's ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Positive work ethic, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment BENEFITS: We care about our people.
