Warehouse Person

Job Summary: Meet customer demands by assuring 100% accuracy in all shipping, labeling, picking, packing and on time-shipping of orders. Help unload incoming raw materials from trucks. Distribution of said raw materials to their respective departments. Wrap and prepare finished good for shipping. Essential Functions: Accurately prepare customer orders for shipping. Pick and pack orders using computer-generated pick tickets. Notify supervisor of any out-of-stock and/or discrepancies. Make necessary corrections to pick tickets and enter into computer. Prepare orders for shipping following appropriate routing instructions (may include use of WiSys, customer portal and/or 3PL portal) to select carrier and generate necessary shipping documents (e.g. Packing List, BOL, labels). Help ensure orders go out on schedule. Operate forklift to load and unload trucks verifying that all counts are accurate. Assist in preparing finished goods from production areas to storage and/or staging area for shipping. Assist in preparing finished goods for shipping: labeling, shrink-wrapping, palletizing, etc. as needed. Informs the supervisor of all discrepancies in shipping or receiving operations. Maintains warehouse in a clean and orderly fashion. Ensures that the warehouse is run in a �safe� manner that is compliant with OSHA regulations. Additional Functions: Performs other duties as assigned. Function as a warehouse laborer as needed. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Required. Good oral and written communication skills. Basics knowledge of computer functions. Current forklift operator certificate.
