We are searching for a **Warehouse Order Picker and Packer** for our Distribution Center in **Vernon Hills, IL** Join our growing and dynamic team and help us pick and pack orders. Must be able to operate sit-down forklift and cherry picker (also called order picker with a harness). **Hours - 9:30am-6:00pm CST** **$18.00/HR starting pay** **40-hour work week - Monday through Friday Schedule** **Overtime is not mandatory, but it is offered regularly to employees.** **14-Panel Drug Test - This includes testing for THC (no exceptions whatsoever)** Role Responsibilities - Pick and pack orders on foot with a hand card - Utilize pallet jack - Load and unload trailers - Operate cherry picker with harness to pick or put away materials in the racks (also known as order picker vehicle) - Not mandatory but nice to have experience - Roll and pack 3x3 laminate sheets Qualifications - 1+ year of warehouse experience in a receiving position with similar duties - Good communication skills - Basic computer knowledge - Sit-down forklift experience Role Characteristics - Stands for 3 to 4 hours at a time - Lifts up to 70 pounds - Withstands fluctuating temperature changes - Quickly learns new systems - Has an excellent work ethic - Excels in a quick-paced environment - Is okay with shifting job duties We offer the following employee benefits - Competitive wages - A variety of excellent health insurance choices - Paid time off - Company matched 401(k) Equal Opportunity Employer
