**SUMMARY** The Warehouse Attendant (2nd Shit) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of facilities and equipment, operating forklifts and other machinery, and operating the cleaning machine. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **2nd Shift Hours:** 2:00 pm - 12:00 am (Includes the following and other duties may be assigned.) *Responsible for:* - Perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks to ensure the cleanliness and organization of facilities and equipment as assigned. - Operate forklifts and other machinery to assist with material handling and movement within the facility. - Utilize cleaning machines and perform related operation tasks. - Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring accuracy and proper handling procedures. - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and meet production goals. - Adherence to safety policies. - Providing a high level of customer service. - Promoting and adhering to the company Core Values of honesty, integrity & teamwork. - Adhering to cooperative credit policy. - Securing facilities and equipment when closing. - Promptly and regularly report to work and work overtime hours as needed. - Present a clean and professional appearance. - Employee is required to perform all other duties as directed. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** This position has no supervisory responsibilities. **QUALIFICATIONS** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** Previous experience related to grain, feed, fertilizer, chemicals and/or farms supplies is preferred. **LANGUAGE SKILLS** Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. **MATHEMATICAL SKILLS** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and weights. **CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS** This position does not require certificates, licenses and/or registration. **REASONING ABILITY** The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems with several concrete variables in standard situations. Must be able to think quickly and perform a mental assessment of workplace hazards, take appropriate precautions, and choose appropriate PPE as dictated by need, regulation and labeling. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
