We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work.* *Sunbelt Supply is a subsidiary of FloWorks International LLC, which is a privately held company located in Houston, Texas.* **Please apply if you are interested in a 2nd shift role working 1pm - 10pm with an hour unpaid lunch.** **Job Information** The Warehouse Associate is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including Unloading and loading semi-trucks, U.P.S. and FedEx trucks - Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation - Routing material to either staging or shipping areas - Mechanically Inclined - Ability to work on Valve automation and Assembly with direct from the warehouse supervisor - Must be experienced operating a forklift. Certification a plus - Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and additional software to track and communicate internally, as well as with Customers, Carriers and Suppliers - Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same - Attention to detail, highly organized, able to prioritize work **Qualifications:** - HS Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility - Knowledge of typical warehouse equipment, machines and tools - Forklift experience - Material resource planning and/or production control experience with Systems Applications Processes (SAP) - Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems - Valid driver’s license **Physical Demands** - Frequently required to stand - Frequently required to walk - Continually required to sit - Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity - Occasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl - Continually required to talk or hear - Continually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard - Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds - Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts - Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions - Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment) **Work Environment** This role operates in a warehouse environment. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
