| Job Summary: | | --- | Receives, organizes, stores, pulls and ships merchandise/supplies used to fulfill customer orders. Assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose upon receiving proper training and guidance. Assist customers on Bridgestone HosePower’s retail counter with guidance, hose repair and order processing. | Essential Duties and Responsibilities: | | --- | - Shipping and receiving, including unloading and processing of items - Move, store and transfer materials, supplies and merchandise in and around warehouse - Maintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in proper locations - Displays merchandise, suggests selections that meet customer's needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and utility - Discusses use and features of various parts; able to make recommendations based on needs - Resolves or alerts management regarding inventory issues or customer concerns - Assemble and build industrial and hydraulic hose to appropriate specifications and standards - Upholds environmental health and safety standards - Performs other duties as assigned. | Qualifications: | | --- | - Prior experience in an industrial or hydraulic warehouse setting - Ability to operate a forklift. - Ability to lift/move product weighing more than 50 pounds. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. - Ability to complete transactions with a high degree of accuracy. - Ability to manage time and complete assigned tasks with a high degree of attention to detail. - Ability to effectively interact with staff and vendors. - Ability to attentively listen and effectively communicate in oral and written format.
