This position plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, inventory is maintained properly, and the warehouse operates safely and efficiently. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: - Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks safely and efficiently. - Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy. - Pick, pack, palletize, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup. - Stock inventory and maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse. - Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks and pallet movers. - Assist customers and drivers at the warehouse pickup counter in a professional and courteous manner. - Process customer and vendor Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs). - Participate in inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records. - Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. - Work closely with warehouse and office personnel to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. - Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment. - Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. **Experience and Requirements**: - Previous warehouse experience required. - HVAC distribution or construction supply experience is highly preferred. - Valid driver's license with a good driving record. - Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified). - Ability to safely lift and move boxes averaging 10-30 lbs. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Dependable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety. - Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Basic computer skills are a plus. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. **Benefits**: We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including: - Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance - 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match - Life Insurance & Health Savings Account (HSA) - Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance - Critical Illness & Accident Coverage - Pet Insurance - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays The Company provides equal employment opportunity in accordance with applicable laws and prohibits discrimination and harassment.
