Granger High School - Eminence Volleyball Teacher/Coach (1 Period) A hourly Eminence teacher in Granite School District is allowed to teach one to two periods total within an area of expertise. Criteria for Eminence: 1. Teacher is allowed up to two (2) classes and no more than two classes. 2. Teacher must have full charge of the classroom and be the teacher of record. 3. Teacher must teach during regular school hours (not prior to school or after school). 4. Teacher must be eminently qualified in the area they are teaching. Teacher Responsibility: 1. Applicant will do a background check through the USBE prior to starting the class. 2. Applicant will complete an online Educator Application for review prior to starting the class. 3. Applicant will submit a resume and/or transcripts that demonstrate professional experience and/or qualifications to teach in the content area of posting. 4. Teachers differentiate curriculum and use effective research-based methods of instruction. Implement Proficiency-Based Grading in Student Evaluations. Essential Functions Teach the core content area(s) outlined in the USBE's Core Curriculum, and adopted by the Board of Education, correlated with other approved learning activities. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of the child. Utilize effective teaching techniques in translating lesson plans into productive student learning experiences which best utilize the time available for instruction Utilize computers and other technological classroom support equipment in student instruction.
