**Department** Psychological & Brain Sciences, Chair **Compensation** $53,000.00 to Negotiable Annual **General Description:** The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure earning, Visiting Instructor of Psychology. Position responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load (or its equivalent), with some service expectations. This position will be a 1-year appointment with a 9-month contract. **Supervisor:** This position reports to the Department Chair. **Working Hours:** Varies **Supervision Exercised:** This is not a supervisory role. **Required Licensure:** N/A **Required Qualifications:** - Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Psychology, although strong ABD and Master’s candidates will be considered - Strong interest and ability in teaching undergraduate courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, and upper division courses based upon the candidate’s expertise **Preferred Qualifications / Skills:** - PhD in Psychology **Statement(s) of Understanding** This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check. The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX.
